Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last term of junior high. Dina Meyer is the sister of two brothers. Gregory is her older brother and Evan is her younger brother. The first time she was in the industry of entertainment was as she was modeling between the ages of nine and sixteen. She started her acting training with The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York in which she learned Sanford Meisner's techniques for acting along in conjunction with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training as did Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are also amongst the actors who have received similar training. Her debut role was Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to make the move in Los Angeles. After securing the lead role for Johnny Mnemonic where she did majority of the stunts her own, she established herself as an actress athletic. As well as the agency that represented Matt LeBlanc, her agent was in charge of a variety of regular roles on Friends.
